Prof. Manzoor Hussain is Professor of Sociology at the University of Kashmir, India. He has teaching and research experience of 23 years and has worked as PI, Co-PI, research associate and field investigator in 11 research projects. The author has published many books/book chapters and research papers at national and international level. He has attended and presented research papers in a number of national and international conferences, seminars, symposiums and workshops. The author has also organised and coordinated many seminars/conferences/workshops. He has guided a good number of MPhil and PhD research scholars, and he is also a member of many professional developmental bodies. Besides, the author has been the editor of some UGC approved journals. His areas of interest are Quantitative research, Qualitative research, Sociology of development, Education and society, Rural and Tribal society.
